Thank you for taking a look at my work. My name is Charles J. Brown. I am a freelance colorist with over five years of experience in the industry. Over the course of my time in the color world, I've had the opportunity to work at several post house facilities. Learning from some of the best at Company 3, The Mill, Ethos, Apache, and Visual Creatures. I have worked on numerous high-profile projects across various mediums, including film, music videos, and commercials.
With a background and passion for music I approach color under a similar gaze. Color grading is being able to understand that all the small pieces equal the whole. Similar to an audio engineer my job is to help refine all the parts and help bring the project to completion. I mix color like sound and I look forward to working on your next project.
